one more week

It's been a long time since I have written anything. There have been a few things keeping me busy.

First and foremost, the World Cup has started! So this means there is lots of football on TV and helps pass my evenings very well. England has won it's first two game and though the performance has been rather disappointing at times, the potential is there to see.

Then there has been lots of work going on in the lab. I have been doing some programming in Visual Basic which seems to be going on pretty well right now.

And finally the departure of my flatmates. Bernard left today morning and Mark will be leaving tomorrow. Thankfully Dwight is going to be coming back pretty soon, but right now, the flat is like a ghost paradise. But it does give me a chance to get some reading done. I have almost finished reading The Lord of the Rings.

This is all till something exciting comes up. And yes, my foot is much better, now I can hobble about pretty quickly.
