Going legal
I have decided to buy a laptop. The problem with that is buying the software. I would never have problems if I didn't want to go legit. The thing is, I want to buy a Mac and hence will have to buy programs which go on with it. But since I have been using windows till now, I want to have windows running on it too. Apparently you can do that now. But you need programs for both.
How does a student afford this? It's just not possible to buy programs for both the systems. Heck it's not possible to buy them for one system. A pack of office costs a hundred pounds. Some other software which I cannot live without will cost another 100 more, and so on. In the end, the software will end up costing as much as the laptop itself. I could just as easily go and buy illegal software and work with them happily. But if you want to buy legal ones you have to pay out of your nose. How do they expect students to do this? I am going to buy an apple, and I guess I will use some illegal software with it.
